Dutch Bros

Dutch Bros Coffee is a coffee shop with humble beginnings. Founded by brothers Dan and Travis Boersma, their first coffee shop was opened as a push cart by the railroad tracks in Grant Pass, Oregon in 1992. Today they have expanded to eighteen states, and while their coffee might be great, their sense of community is even greater!

The Dutch Bros Coffee website needed a facelift to make all the features easier to access.

Bringing a New Look To a $13.11 Billion Company

I began by researching other coffee sites; what images, colors, typography they used, and what the site itself offered. I also looked at what audience they primarily sold to. I then made an analysis based on the structure, usability, and design of each site. From my analysis I pulled ideas from the other coffee sites with the highest ratings, and made the features more accessible for the users. I then developed two wireframes, based on these findings, eventually one was chosen and used for the final website mockup. For the final website mockup I pulled my analysis and creativity together to create a fresh look for the company.

This website mockup helps stakeholders see how the user experience could be more fluid and accessible.
